Peanut butter is safe as soon as your puppy has stopped feeding from mum, so from around 6 weeks.

Note: Artificial Sweetener

Xylitol is an artificial sweetener or sugar substitute, (sometimes called “Birch sugar”) is really problematic for dogs. It’s commonly found in sugar-free products. Xylitol can cause a rapid release of insulin, creating severely low blood sugar, known as hypoglycemia and kidney failure even in small amounts. So, make sure you peanut butter is free of this. The more natural they are the better! Here’s a little list from the AKC about artificial sweeteners and what is and isn’t good – so check your ingredients list!
